After a roughly two years hiatus The Fear of Being Offline comes back with
a two sided single available on digital format. “Ushuaia”, a song inspired on a trip to south america’s southest region is a track that portrays a land
in the form of a soundscape.
Luckily enough they come across two magnificent artistswho collaborated with the track, the fisrt one being Sara Pozo a chilean musician who brought her voiceto the lyrics of the song and Lucia Acevedo (a.k.a Hairmilk) a biology student and videographer based in Ushuaia who, through her camera lens, recording on Mini DV format brought the footage for a music videothat could not match any better the images in Parnesmind at the time of writing the song. The B side of this release is called “Ghosts”, a track writtenby longtime fellow collaborator, Elias Musiak (a.k.aJaijiu or HI, HUMANITY), an uptempo experimental beat full of crafted sounds and unique textures whereJaijiu sings a simple but powerfull lyric about detachment and self superation.
